Hope all is well. I wanted to share some opportunities for summer work in the Boston area that could be a good opportunity for current students or recent grads.
The first is with the organization I currently work for: Groundwork Somerville. We are a small non-profit that runs a variety of climate justice programming, with a key one being our Summer Green Team. This is an opportunity to lead high school age youth in farm and garden work, as well as develop and lead engaging climate and environmental justice workshops! I have really enjoyed working with Groundwork Somerville’s Spring Green Team, and it is quite likely that I’ll be here for the summer as well. The second opportunity is with The Food Project. I have not worked for them myself, but it is an organization that runs a similar summer youth program. I’ll include a PDF of their job description as well.
